Don Bristow - Technology Coordinator
Don Bristow is a photographer, artist and website designer.
His work Chaotica - Mathematical Renderings on AluminArte is currently featured at The Global Art Initiative Gallery for the purpose of raising funds for the initiative.
Among his favorite subjects to photograph are artists engaged in the process of creating their art. Bristow’s portraits of artists have brought together as many as 18 artists in a single gallery exhibit, featuring both the portraits and representative artworks from each artist.
One of Bristow's specialties is photographing art for the purpose of reproduction.
His commercial photography work has appeared in Car Care Magazine, Sacramento Magazine, Sacramento Spotlight, N Magazine, Natomas Journal, Texas Property Journal, DuPont Registry of Homes, US Oncology News and more. His fine art work has been featured in Sacramento, California, by Artisan Gallery, Centerline Gallery, Doiron Gallery, Gallery W and Taylor’s Nouveau Fine Art Gallery, and in Tyler, Texas, by Caffé Tazza and the eTX Natural Wellness Expo.
Bristow serves as Technology Director for the Global Art Initiative, is on the Executive Board of the American & Asian Society of East Texas and is past President and currently serving as Vice-President of the Tyler Business Builders chapter of Business Network International.
Bristow was a software engineer, manager and director at Unify Corporation for total of 18 years. Bristow graduated from California State University, Sacramento following service in the U.S. Navy.
Bristow owns Lightray Websites, a website design and hosting company in Tyler, Texas. Lightray Websites builds and hosts websites for small businesses, medical and legal professionals.
